pth08000 question

pth08000 question

one question about the pth08000 from texasinstruments.com when you order the pth08000 does the 100 uf electrolytic capacitor and the 2k ohm resistor come with the pth08000? If not where can i purchase both the 100 uf electrolytic capacitor and the 2k ohm resistor?

You get only the PTH08000. You must get your own capacitor and resistor. Just google "100uf electrolytic capacitor" and "2k ohm resistor" under the Shopping section. Lots of companies sell them.

Buy a 100uf electrolytic capacitor and a pack of 1k ohm resistors at Radioshack. Wire the 2 1k ohm resistors in series in place of the diagram's 2k one. It gave me exactly 3.25v, which will run the 3.3v line just fine.

or you could just buy a 2.2 k ohm resistor and wire however you like.....
