I want to build something to practice using the dremel and soldering iron before I even touch my N64. So then...

What can I build with 37 dollars, a soldering iron, and a dremel.
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

a cheap soldering iron and dremel, or a somewhat nicer iron or dremel but not both
a good dremel is gonna cost you anywhere from 20-90 bucks a decent soldering will be 7-30$ with a REALLY nice one being anything north of 30 up to a couple hundred for a professional hot air station

Swap LED's in game systems, cut plastic, burn yourself, etc.

I think he already has one...

But you should build a binary watch.
They are fairly easy to build when you have a good kit.

did that yesterday got a burn from my soldering iron on my thumb.
A few months ago I was soldering, I was watching seinfeld(On TBS) like I always do, leaned into the iron with my elbow, and did not notice until the commercial break, I didn't feel it, lucky I didn't!

Step 1. - Give me the $37
Step 2. - Come up with something to do with your soldering iron and Dremel.

I built a 5-player box a while ago and love it. perfect for emulators.

I'm thinking of making a bristle bot. They sound really cool. I know that everytime someone mentions it there is a refrence to Dr.Killgood banning because of that link. So let's try to stay on topic

Anybody got any instuctions/tips/materials I should use.
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

So I have everything but a bot. How would go about making one?

Take a motor from a Pager or cell phone and attach it on the top with some batteries.

Just wire the batteries to the motor to make the bristles move correct?

Nice. This will make a very fun afternoon project
