PS1 Mod planned for the future, Disc Tray, tinted Glass, etc

Post by iLoveModding » Fri May 29, 2009 6:12 am

Ok, I have ordered a PSone from Amazon, and I am going to pimp it out! I am taking the entire top part off the system, raise it up an inch, Put a digital clock in, Put a PS2 Disc Tray in, A USB port, IR Connectors for Wireless Play, PSone and PS2 games compatible, Tinted glass roofing, TONs of LEDs, but not overdoing it, Sony 40GB hard drive, Mod Chip, and the best part, 14" Widescreen LCD SCREEN! The design is still being edited, but I can guarrentee that this will be the best PS1 Mod EVER!!!!!!!! Give me any cool ideas and tips, Thanks!

If it's compatible with PS2, doesn't that make it a PS2 mod that happens to be backwards compatible? (Just like every PS2)

you are going to fail miserably.
if you honestly think you can hook a hard drive and ps2 disc drive to a psone, and make it play ps2 games, you dont have the I.Q. required to do it. nobody does. if the psone could play ps2 games, why would sony bother with making a ps2?

on the other hand, it could have just been a simple mistake, and im rapping on you for nothing. if thats so, im sorry.

Putting a PS2 disk tray in it will not make it compatible with PS2 games.

Ok to clarify this, It will have anything required to make it compatible with PS2 Games and HDD's. And I know how to do this crap. I have messed around a lot lately and have found out the secret to combining the PSone and PS2 efficently. It will take a bit of money, but it will be the best PS1/PS2 mod ever seen. It will take a lot of time and patience, but I shall keep you updated! I would let you guys know my secret, but then it wouldnt be a secret anymore, so that is why! I will release the secret when I finish making this!

Seamless integration of a PSone and a PS2 = Play PSone games on the PS2 because they made the console backwards-compatible. If you're serious, please learn what you're talking about first or you'll be flamed to a crisp like the "I have the 360 schematics so I'm making a 360 the size of a credit card" guy. If you're trolling, try harder. ;)

i thought that that was Afrolh. in the fake flame war in the thread where the guy wanted a portable snes, and everyone posted old pics of other peoples. SS will probably post the link. :P
