Dude, it's not a problem, that's what I'm saying. You're totally entitled to form your own opinion, based on your own criteria, on what your favorite console is. "Better" is a relative term - if you like the NES and that other person doesn't, who cares? He's the one showing ignorance because it sounds like he thinks that the newer the console, the better.

Yeah, after the N64 Nintendo turned to crap. Rare being bought by Microsoft pretty much killed them, and they should have pushed the 3rd parties some more. The GC 1st party titles mostly suck- they were poorly made. The Wii is 90% gadget and 10% game console. The DSi isn't really better enough to do anything but piss people off. And 90% of the games for both are kiddy or just crap. Their novel controller was a disaster too. In any case I abandoned consoles for PC a generation ago. This could easily turn into a flame war, so I'm going to end it here.

Wow, I didn't know it was that more powerful. But I still don't think it's worth the extra $50 especially if my DSTT card doesn't work which is a bummer since I kind of need it for my TI-83 calc emulator on it (what? it works). If they start offering GBA games in the store I may look into it.

Not really. Xbox to Xbox 360 was a whole new architecture, much more ram, and much higher clock speed. They went from a 700MHZ P3 Coppermine to a 3-core PowerPC CPU. Also the graphics jumped from DX8.1 to DX9 equivalency.

The DSi is just doubled clock speed, slightly better graphics core, two gimmicky cameras, and a useless SD slot.

And there's nothing wrong with the NES being a fav console...cause well...the NES is my fav as well, with a close second/third being the SEGA Genesis/CD I have a brand spanking new 360, and I hardly ever play it when comparied to how much I play my NES and Genesis/CD
