Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Just adding Sifuf's wonderful guide on relocating the expansion pak. It was information I needed and I had to go hunting for it. This sticky seriously needs an overhaul.

For those of you who want to know how a PTH08000 and PTH08080 work, take a look at these spec sheets from Texas Instruments. Educate yourself!

PTH08000 (PDF file)
If you look on page 7 you'll see how to figure out what resistor value you need to set the output voltage. It's really easy.

PTH08080 (PDF file)
This is almost identical to the PTH08000.

It drives me nuts people keep asking, "Okay, so what value resistor do I need?" Just give them these links and tell them to read!
