Is this a proper PS1 Screen??

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Found this on Amazon and was curious about it. Looking at the shape and position of buttons I was wondering wether or not it was an official screen just recased or an inferior copy :?

Looks like it. With a name like ThrustMaster, you can't go wrong. 8)

Either way, that's one slim screen, and if the quality is good enough (which it probably is), it'll do the job just fine.
Hey, sup?

the speakers are in odd positions if it does come back in stock I recommend against it.

The speakers in a PS1/Zenith screen are on long enough ribbon cables to afford some movement. The LCD is thick enough that the speakers could go on either side without adding to the overall size of the case. I think there's a good chance it's a recase.
