Looking pretty good so far, I wonder how much someone would pay for one of these things, someone would probably buy it at MGC. I wish I could go there and see it, but just like your sig sas, "t3h economiez broken my monies"

Well I'm in minnesota, right next to you, and I don't see very much money flocking my way.

What kind of wood are you using anyway? i.e. How strong is this thing, the wood looks fairly thin.

Yes the edges will be rounded like the top. Straight lacquer for the finish. No stains or dyes. Stains mask the true look of the wood you are using.

Thanks!

Curled Maple and Mahogany. Those woods are fairly dense and strong.

Oh sure, as soon as someone (me) asks how strong the wood is, it breaks. Well, as long as it's not dead.

Well i didn't drop it. Drill bit caught an edge and whipped it into the base of my drill press destroying it.
