Looking pretty good so far, I wonder how much someone would pay for one of these things, someone would probably buy it at MGC. I wish I could go there and see it, but just like your sig sas, "t3h economiez broken my monies"

Well I'm in minnesota, right next to you, and I don't see very much money flocking my way.

Ah, so you will fill that loose hole with glue so that your wood will stay hard?

What kind of wood are you using anyway? i.e. How strong is this thing, the wood looks fairly thin.

Yes the edges will be rounded like the top. Straight lacquer for the finish. No stains or dyes. Stains mask the true look of the wood you are using.eurddrue wrote:are you going to round the edges and corners? and what kind of finish/varnish/stain stuff are you using?

Curled Maple and Mahogany. Those woods are fairly dense and strong. What kind of wood are you using anyway? i.e. How strong is this thing, the wood looks fairly thin.

Oh sure, as soon as someone (me) asks how strong the wood is, it breaks. Well, as long as it's not dead.

Well i didn't drop it. Drill bit caught an edge and whipped it into the base of my drill press destroying it.thewise1 wrote:Oh sure, as soon as someone (me) asks how strong the wood is, it breaks. Well, as long as it's not dead.
