Black is one of the original gamecube colours. You could get black or indigo (which nobody actually bought) and in Japan you could get spice (orange). Later they released a platinum (silver) version.

Indigo for a portable gamecube would be amazing. If you pulled it off right, $5 says you could fool the world into thinking Nintendo made it!

You lie, that isn't beautiful!
Ha, just kidding.
Nice work, this shows that if you really put some effort into something you can make it awesome.
Also, I like how you never make a build thread, it keeps on our toes anticipating your next great work.
What is that, your 10th portable total?

You wouldn't need bondo to do that.
In fact, since it's plastic, JB Weld might work better (i'm just a JB fan anyway, go ahead and disregard this)
Elmer's Washable School Glue! That stuff rules!

If you want it to be flush then I would go with bondo

Problem-> bondo is AWESOME, but it's really not an adhesive.
You'd need to cover the edges slightly so it'd actually stay, and that just doesn't look proffesional.

That is why you sand it. ;)

I have always wanted to bondo that logo, but it is curved plastic. Not good for a flat case. ;)

I guess you know a lot more than i do on this palmertech...
Too bad it wouldn't be practical, it would give it a nice effect.
Oh well...
Plus i hate sanding bondo because you need around 40 grit.

I use 250, then 350, then 600, then 800, then 2000. :D

It is just a pain to do, so you need patience.

Have you seen my N64 DS case mod? Google it if not, it uses that N64 logo, and it looks really neat. :D

Also, I made a mistake. I thought you guys were talking about the plastic engraved to say "Nintendo" for some reason. No need to bondo the front logo piece, you can just glue that. You can backlight it with different colored LEDs like me, too.
