Post by omgitsthebishop » Thu Feb 26, 2009 6:12 pm

Hey, as you can see Im new to this site, and wanted to make an xbox 360 laptop, but I saw you guys suggested an easier prject such as a ps2p or laptop to someone else to start. I was wondering is there a tutorial or walktrough that shows me how to make one of these, also how do I make the case, could anyone make one for me? Or what do I need to make one? anyhelp is greatly appreciated!

Go through and read all of the build logs for all of the projects you're interested in, and then ask again. You need to see what everyone else has done and begin to understand some of the terminology before we can start to help you.

Also, no one will hold your hand. There are no walkthroughs or cheat codes on this side of the gaming universe. You can ask questions, but for a lot of the stuff you'll be doing, you'll be on your own.

Cases:
Do some research on Vacuum forming

I know that from a first hand experience, no one told me how to power the Retro Duo from screen power so I tinkered for a an hour and I figured it out and then made a tutorial.

At least give him some form of respect; the damn search function is retarded.
Besides, nobody has to do it YOUR way.
I'd just recommend you read a couple build threads, not all. (That's crazy.)

I say read them all... from every category. It builds character. :D
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
