Oh snap, SS is on the move again, so he'll have 8 gamecube portables. The 8th one will be made out of the larger version of a plastic drawer, I know you guys have seen the big ones. :P

I've got a GCp too, I just need to attach the batteries and screen. Oh, and the controls haven't been implemented yet.

any thoughts on a low battery indicator? I also have a project that involves 7 volts, what can I do to measure low battery? I want a blue LED to turn off, and a red one to light up.
thewise1 wrote:I was wondering how to make the av switch, where when you plug the av out cable into the n64 the ps1 screen turns off so you can just use the tv. And how to do a low battery indicator. This would be fairly useful but I don't know what to use to turn the led off when it goes under 7 volts. The battery I plan to use is at 7.4 volts.

Hope you find someone with a lob64 slave port

Hey mario, I was wondering what you do about the expansion pak, since you don't have room in the slot for heatsinks, do you even use one?

*smack*

All that needed to be done was connecting the screen. Case, controller, batteries and everything was already done!

I tried running the n64 controller off batteries and connecting ONLY the middle data pin to the console. No good. Hooked up ground, and it worked fine. What should I do? Is it possible to get the controller data to the console with only ONE pin? If not, then this wireless project is toast. :(
could you run a wire or a resistor from the 3v to the ground of the system? maybe thats how the system recognizes that there is a controller connected?

The Black Eyed Peas sort of wrote:This beat thread be bumpin' bumpin'. This beat thread go boom boom.

I think what happens is people see this on a Google link, make an account to ask a question, and don't look at the thread date.
