I'm taking Film as Literature (counts as an english credit ), in which we watch movies covering basically the entire existence of film. We do a lot of analyzing and critical eye sort of stuff in the class.
Anyways, we have two film projects that we are doing. The first is an ad parody, like the ones in Saturday Night Live (Bassomatic, anyone? ), and the second is a short film.
Does anyone have any ideas for an ad?*

Re: Advertisement parody
What about the Mac/PC ads? A parody would be relatively easy to do, plus you could go literally any direction with it. Simple and versatile.
Otherwise, you can probably get some ideas from looking at the videos done by the Onion (http://www.theonion.com).
Whatever you do, be sure to post a link to your finished video - we'd all like to see it!
