I think i know what is the problem since i haven't got my battery's yet i'm usig the psone screen adapter to power the cube and i think it can't handel the current draw for the 1,9v line(it makes a weird humming noise). Though the 3,3v and 5v line can be powered
I'll just have to wait for mmy batterys then or find a strong 7,4v adapter

Re: GCP Handheld 75% done!!
After waiting a couple of weeks and still not getting my battery's I decided to rework the case. Case was ugly and needed allot of touchups.
Case is primerd so all I need to do is paint it.

I haven't decided what color it should be. I was thinking of pearl white but i'm not to sure. What do you think? pearl white? black? platinum? red? glossy or matt paint??

Re: GCP Handheld 75% done!!
I didn't like the placement before. The type of controller I'm using has 2 z buttons one left and one right. Right wil be used for z and left for start. It's easier to use and like that everthing is in reach without moving your hands.
I will put the brightness and volume buttons where there normally suppossed to be under the screen. Just haven't drilled out those holes yet.

Re: GCP Handheld 75% done!!
That. Looks. AWESOME! So simple, but it sill looks good, and it has curves! As for color, I think baby blue would look nice, and ask yourself, who's done a baby blue portable anything? Definitely a matte finish, maybe a little glossier to hide any imperfections (though it looks pretty tip top at the moment). Also, great idea using the extra R Button for start.zenloc wrote:After waiting a couple of weeks and still not getting my battery's I decided to rework the case. thanks
altough baby blue isn't my cup of tea
I just painted it white today but it's a bit boring. Might do multiple colors. Time to photoshop. I'll post a couple of example when done.

the power requirements are quite steep. You would need batteries with plenty of amperage as they could draw 3.6 amps at maximum; also, you would need two TI cards to generate 1.8 amps for the 1.9v line.
