Features that need to be added to the new forum

I know there's a thread already about feedback for the new forum, but I figured this would be easier for JUST showing things that we want added to the forums.

Links need to open in a new window
The old emoticons should be put back
Forum chat (possibly)
Ability to embed youtube videos in our posts
Ebay-style feedback system for trading

Post here and I'll add it to the list.

Move the "Quote" and "Edit" buttons back to their normal positions.

Other than that, that list looks just about right.

Just made a small addition that's built into phpbb 3: custom profile fields!

You can enter your Xbox Live username, PSN username, and Steam ID in the User Control Panel (under Profile -> Edit Profile) and they'll show up on your public profile page! (There's no Nintendo one because as far as I know you get a different friend code for each game.)

You should add one for the Wii Hardware though. Some games just use that one.

How about a central list of all portables? Sort of like this:

Project Name - Creator - System - Notes - Rating

and the list would be sortable by all of those categories (except notes). Notes would be primarily for noting things like "no battery - AC only," "NOAC system," "GOAC system," etc. Also, a little image (50 pixels on a side or so) would be nice. Either the picture or the project name should be a link to the individual project's thread.

The rating would be a 5-star rating of the portable, kept accurate to hundreths (so that a system with 5 4-star ratings rates higher one with 5 4-stars and 1 3-star, for example).

A working "Log me in every time I visit" option.

It never works, on like 4 different computer I have used, it never works.

That's a problem with the server. It works for a few days/week(s), then I'm guessing the server restarts, and it logs you out.

No it happens like 5 times a day. not every few days.

Sounds more like an issue with cookies... not the server itself.

I dont have any problem and i have it set to keep me logged in on 2 seperate PCs no issues
