Post by riva16 »

Same question and same situation. A friend said that if I could fix his pstwo that I could keep it. I am trying to find out which fuse is blown, since the system shows no audio/video.

EDIT: I am almost certain this is a v4/5 system but can't tell which of the two.
Who else would I be?

I just went through his whole PS2 but with no luck. I checked every fuse... Its something bigger than just a fuse... Good luck, If you finda pic, GET MY EMAIL AND TELL ME!!! :)

Before you check the fuse, make sure your video cable is good. Try another TV too.
Always remember: The first thing to break is usually something mechanical. (like a pin on the AV cable  )
That's about all I can suggest for now.
