Making Pocket PC Software?

Post by Super Cameraman »

I want to make a program where basically, when you press a button on screen, it plays a sound. I've tried Flash, but for some reason, my Flash player doesn't work right. How I can make this program?

Put simply, it's a right pain.

I'd check out Pelles C (c compiler with PPC/arm) support
Otherwise your only option is to use the Microsoft eMBedded Visual C++ tools. Although it's a lot of downloading, it's capable. Works for me

You need to know exactly what version and what platform you have. Is it a PPC2003 device, Windows Mobile 5/6 smartphone/pocket pc? It all makes a difference.

It's a PPC2003 device.

Is coding for the DS any easier?

Hate to bump ancient topic, but hey, not like anything else is in here.

Coding for DS is pretty easy for simple stuff like this, and the platform is far more consistent to work with than the PSP.

PM me for help if you still need this. :D
