Snesp (almost finished)

Post by darthchris13 » Sun Nov 30, 2008 3:01 am

Good morning, I am new, my name is chris and I am French. Definitely, after this presentation summary let us pass about the post.
I began a snep with the help of the book of ben and by gleaning from there information on the building of a super nes portable.
For now I did not have big problem except with the case which I made by technique FDM fabricate.the case is too flexible because in ABS and it was necessary to reinforce it with plastic cards and the state of surface of the case is not very nice.
Here are some pictures of work in progress.

Try and have more of the cart inside the system, looks like you have the room for it. Much better to have a cart enclosed than sticking out too much. Otherwise, looking good so far, and welcome to the forums!

I presume the batteries will fit on the sides of the system, behind the control buttons? (left and right sides)?

on my first concept the cartridge was absolutely in the console but I had not place anymore for batteries, I did not want a thick console then I took back up the card slot, i made an error of comprehension and the cartridge is not in common sense, to origin they had to see the tab of this one.
Batteries will be in long under the card slot.

Don't you have room on the sides, under the controls?

it is the speakers who will be put under controls, batteries will go in the bottom of the back case.Furthermore if I want to take down the card slot I have a big work to do an the back case.

As long as we can understand in the end its all good
Also very clean looking, even the insides look clean which means if you care about that which you wont be able to see in the end, then it will turn out very well

Très beau travail, comme tu peux le voir je suis aussi français
Nice Work, like you can see I'm also French

J'ai commencé un projet de snesp identique que celui de Brian
I began a snesp project exactly the same of Brian Project

But I can't unsolder the cartwrightport, I am a beginner so do you have some tricks to explain me how I can do this... I bought "braid unsolder" (???) You can send me pm to speak french because it's a public english forum :)

Merci et encore très beau travail !
Thx and Nice work again !

It looks like you have a great looking SNESp coming along. I really like your case did you make it by hand?

EDIT: I see you used FDM fabrication. How did you get a hold of the machinery to do so?
