Post by Animedude101 » Sun Nov 23, 2008 7:55 am

Hello ive been recently been working on a wii laptop
but during the process of making it the wifi antennas
clips seem to have broke and then the other day
they got thrown out and i thought the wii would still function
but it comes up with a black screen
and the wiimote wont sync either and i was wondering does anyone have any help that can solve my problem...

Search ebay for another Antenna. My guess is that, the antenna was for wifi and for the remotes, or the system wont boot because its missing a part. (Security check)

Yayh that's why the wifi antenna has 2 wires: one for wiimote, and one for wireless internet. Thats the sync issue. Also: yes, the wii will refuse to boot if there is a missing part (as will the ds/ dslite) because nintendo doesn't like home repairs, so they included that lovely feature for all us hackers...

Get a new one off ebay.
Cheers,
