Help me pick some more wii games (UPDATE: More Games!)

Post by HotDog-Cart » Mon Nov 17, 2008 6:52 pm

Heres my list that I want to get.

Sonic and the Secret Rings
Need for Speed: Carbon
Rayman Raving Rabids
Super Monkey Ball
Resident Evil 4
No More Hereos
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords
Tony Hawk Downhill Jam
Excite Truck (WTF. Excite truck is SO hard to find. I only saw it for $50 USED at blockbuster. I cant find it at any big name stores website.)

All of these except for excite truck and Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam are only $20!

Which ones should I get?

I really am fond of, and automatically going to get:

Super Monkey Ball
Need for Speed
Rayman Raving Rabids.
Tony Hawk (If I can find it for cheap.)
Excite Truck (If I can find it for cheap.)

Should I get any of the other games?

I kinda like RE4 and Sonic and The Secret Rings.

Hmm.

What games do you already have?
Mario Kart is good, Super Mario Galaxy is ok (not as good as SM64).

Cooking Mama: GTFO...that's lame.
Super Monkey Ball: Sure.
Twilight Princess: Hell yes...Backup Loader.

Mario Kart: Best game ever (Online).
Animal Crossing: Yes.
Harvest Moon: MM: I wouldn't.
Harvest Moon: ToT: I wouldn't.

I would suggest these as a must get:

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Paper Mario
LoZ: TP
Mario Kart Wii
Animal Crossing

start with what you DO have and then I'll try and help (even though my own collection is pretty small, don't have the money to buy just any game I want, I have to be sure it'll be worth my money)

I had galaxy. Didnt like it. Only game I own now are: Links Crossbow, and Wii Sports.

Whats so bad about cooking mama? At my local store it rents out the most.

Whats so bad about the harvest moons?

I dont know if I'd like Super Paper Mario.

Super Mario Strikers is a fun game.

No More Heroes is supposed to be good but I haven't played it

Resident Evil 4 is probably a good choice at a reasonable price

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a must

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a great game, highly recommended. Best of the Prime series.
Nintendo will be re-releasing some gamecube games to integrate wii controls in them, so if you haven't played Metroid Prime 1 & 2, I would recommend getting the wiimakes of them for the improved control scheme.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is supposed to be good: 32 player online action. I played a little bit of it but it was before I had gotten used to wii controls so I couldn't aim for crap.

No More Heroes is good, as is Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. (Especially if you don't have the GCN or PS2 version.) I enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings, but I'd say rent it first. If you like the show Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, there's a game based on it for the Wii, PS2, and PSP made by Capcom in the same fashion as Phoenix Wright. I haven't played Animal Crossing: City Folk, but I loved the first two. Stay away from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, it's a piece of crap. That's all I can think of.

Well, I just got Animal Crossing: City Folk two days ago; and although it's almost inappropriate to judge the game already, I love it!

I had Super Smash Bros but I sold it. I beat it and found it boring.

You know, i've never played an Animal Crossing game. What is so alluring about it that everyone likes it?

It's like crystal meth, minus the whole destroying your life thing.

It's just a cutesy game, it has replay value, and it's very very casual.

I have no idea... It's a really fun game but I don't know why I like it.
