I have a $10 Tracfone. Good for phone calls and texting, but the most advanced thing on it is polyphonic ringtones. I don't call/get called enough to make it worthwhile to get on a plan.

Same for me. Pretty much all the people I know text way more than they talk on their phone. Texting costs money. Instant messaging is free. If a decent number of people start IMing on their phones, then I'd consider taking my n800 to school to jump on the bandwagon (open wifi at my school). But even then, I'd rather do my work or read instead of trying to hide from the teacher.
If/when I get a cell phone, it'll be a cheap tracfone. If I want a smartphone, I'll throw my n800 in my pocket, maybe even get a phone that I could tether it to for internet, but service would probably cost a lot.

I have a cheap cell phone. I'm on virgin mobile. It costs me $5 a month for 100 texts (15 cents each if I go over, and it beats the pay-per-use rate if i use over 20 every month) and 30 cents per minute. No contract. It's quite nice, suits my needs and all that.
Hey, sup?

I have an LG VX8300. Just a normal LG flip-phone. I got it back in 2006 and will probably keep it for another year or two before I upgrade. Maybe by then I'll be able to get an iPhone on Verizon. Hopefully by then data plans would be cheaper too.

I own an iPhone. The thing has already paid for two times itself in owning it for a couple months (bills included).

Until another phone offers a framework like the iTunes App Store, I see the iPhone as the best competitor. :)

I have some Japanese Samsung phone with 2 cameras(one on front and one on back) the one on the back is 5 megapixel and the one on the front is 1.3 megapixels, it also has video call capability, internet, email, music, live t.v, and bluetooth, and yes it also calls people. Of course the only things I can do on it are texting, calling video and voice, and bluetooth. Everything else costs a fortune(20 bucks to download a song). I got a pretty good deal on it too...(it was free when I signed up with Softbank).

Our family just recently switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, and I finally got a cell phone of my own... 'course, I don't have anyone to call with it yet, but I will soon. I got a Samsung Juke because it was free, it plays music, looks cool, has 2GB of built-in memory and came with the data cable and earbuds.

Naturally, I had it hacked to where I could upload my own (FREE) MP3 ringtones onto it within the first few hours of having it. :P Verizon, of course, disables this feature by default to where people have to BUY ringtones... but it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed by forcing it into diagnostics mode. 8)

I Personally own a Motorola C139 Go Phone. It's a basic little phone. And has basic features. But I haven't got minutes for the phone in months. Here's a Pic:

Lately however, I've been using my Moms Sliver Razr that has a clear pink cover over it.

I also have been using one of these lately:
