Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

For glue, you want to use bondo. Well, I'm not telling you that you have to, but the bondo putty stick is god-like when it comes to attaching parts together for a portable's case.

As for paint, that stuff may work, it depends on the surface. It might look very good. Most of us here use Krylon Fusion Spraypaint (Fusion is the sub-brand that is designed for plastics). I can personally vouch for its superiority over Rustoleum plastic paint. It's WAY better. If you're going for model paint, make sure it can take flexing (ie doesn't dry really really hard, or that your case is very stiff), and that it can take heat (whether you like it or not, your portable is going to generate hotspots).

Imo I would NEVER use Bondo to hold parts together. With a little flexing it breaks snd comes apart.

Plastic to plastic I use Abs cement or PlasticWeld. Metal to metal I use Jbweld. Metal to plastic I use Epoxy.
