Okay, I think I'm going to mod up an old phat DS for my friend's birthday, as he is an avid 360/FPS lover, but is far out of date on his handheld technology; he's had a GBC for all these years, and just recently got a GBA at a garage sale.
Anyways, I have two ideas. Seeing as he is a 360 nut as well as an FPS whore (his favorite being Halo 3), I need some help deciding between two mod ideas I've got. One would be a Halo-themed DS in which I'd take a black DS case, engrave the Halo symbol in the top center, throw a thin sheet of plexi behind it and illuminate it with a blue LED.
The other would be an Xbox 360-esque mod, in which I'd take a white DS case, engrave the Xbox "X" in the front, back it with plexi, and illuminate it with green LEDs. I'd also paint the buttons to match those of the 360 controller.
So, of those, which do you want. Vote it up!

Yeah, the 360 mod was the one I ended up doing, and it's already completed. Well, it was, but the colors I used to paint it were... off. It ended up looking more like a Japanese Super Famicom controller than an Xbox controller, so I ordered another button replacement kit to give it another go!
Either way, it works out, as I can now use these buttons for a PDA mod.
