Also, their fine print is good for a laugh:

Blake L. Carter and his consultants are the sole owner, founder, and website editor of LaptopKingz. Any use of this name or label without the consent of Blake L. Carter will result in a lawsuit and the violaters will be persecuted to the full extent of the law.

Flippin' hypocrites.

And of course they used their real information when setting up the website, which is easily attainable by anyone with Internet access through DomainTools.

ATTN Ben: Crack down on these guys! They're PASSING OFF PICTURES OF YOUR HARD WORK AS THEIR OWN! It's NOT press-related, they're USING YOUR WORK FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT. As far as I know, that's not Fair Use.

Hmm... No demonstration of technical knowledge, either. (Look at the garbage web design full of AIMspeak and misspellings.)

Wide open message board, too. They really don't know what they're doing...

I'm pretty sure Ben put the Illustrator files up somewhere for anyone to use, so they could theoretically build their own clones. (The 360 and Wii laptop files are on Engadget; I can't find the PS3 files.)

The point is, they haven't shown that they're capable of doing so, and have used existing pictures in a way that looks like it's their handiwork.

I'm not sure if someone has contacted the great Benjamin J. Heckendorn about this absolute load of BS and plagiarism yet, so if noone has then i will. I hope Ben persecutes you to the full extent of the law.

I've already emailed him (no response), with every last bit of information I could get on this kid (including the kid's personal information, websites, and even a link to this thread).
