No problem guys, I won't enter my SNES add-on then. Image Image. On reflection, I see your point!

Anyway, that is fine, my real entry is going to be with my "Plan B" I mentioned before - entirely new project. I also might have a fun project - Plan C which I don't know if I can get the bits for but it will be unannounced until made!!

BTW, today at the car boot sales I got a Sega Saturn plus power leads and controllers for £6 ($12), a Saturn game for £1; and an Xbox with power lead, two controllers for £10 ($20). Small change!!

While I was at the car boot sale today, I was talking to a trader (selling lots of consoles and games), turned out his shop is about 5 miles from where I live and had problems with blinking NES consoles and how to get power into some SNES's as he didn't have any power supplies - sounds like someone bought a big e-bay bid and can't sell all the stuff as a fair bit of it needs modding or fixing to make it work - anyway, told him who I was on this site (he hasn't been on BenHeck for a while but knows about it) and I will be seeing him on Wednesday to see if we can strike a deal for me to do some work for him possibly, as a sideline. May or may not come to anything, time will tell.

I would like to enter the FIC but it is really close to being done.

Are we going to allow multiple entries? I have about 3 portables that I am starting to make.

The contest has begun. I urge everyone to get started on your projects, as the deadline for them is set to be in 6 weeks.

Enjoy your creating, and don't be afraid to show progress pictures along the way, if you please.

I may surprise you guys and pull an ace out of my hat, a xbox portable! Dun-dun-duh! Well, maybe, the power draw may soon prove to be too much for a portable

That reminds me, Can I Use the Thread I made for the namco way long back to show Progress of My entry? Or do I have to use this thread to so my Progress? Or do I need to drop the Namco idea for this comp; and Chose a different system?

Hey, the rules don't say it has to be lightweight. If you could show a video of you playing it while holding it up with your hands only....

I have no intention of mine being light-weight or even handheld, but it will fill the requirements of the thread (assuming I can get it done)

You can use whatever thread you want for your progress. We don't even have to know it's an entry!

Does it have to be hand-held? Because I could not play that thing and hold it up at the same time

Ok, perhaps a topic needs to be generated now Skyone, and stickied?

I suggest we only keep that thread for nothing else than descriptions, pics and videos of completed projects in the compo - nothing else, and only one posting per entry too. If someone has something to add to their project description or vids, etc, they can edit it in to their posting if they need to. This will keep the posting in that thread to the bare bones and entirely relevant.

Good idea??

I am hoping I can get my project done in time, with my other commitments on my time; 6 weeks is quite tight after all.

Will we have a second topic for the completed entrys, and are we going to vote again?
