My brother and I got together and built a nes dvd player last year. This time we wanted to do a little different.
We took a NOAC and stuffed it inside of a Gameboy case.
Due to limited funds we could not make this on fully portable but we came close.
I have a video up on youtube.

My youtube name is ssbmeleefan31. I can't upload pictures yet because I don't know how and I don't have any uploaded to the internet.
Check out the videos.

good job!
i noticed on your first video, you say that it's the first one to your knowledge that had been done. but just to let you know, there have been several who have made a complete nes in a gameboy. even ones with an nes cart slot soldered on.
here are some links if you'd like to see:
mega joyboy
nes p0cket
the original nesboy
yellow nesboy

Thank you. We would have done it fully portable but we had two problems.
1 we did not have a screen and due to limited funds we could not buy one.
2 the board inside the gameboy with the controller on it was no good. No matter what we tried to do we could not get it to work. Maybe it was just us and our inexperience but we plan on makeing another one and it will be fully portable with a cart slot.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. I noticed that it had two grounds and two powers per button if that is what you are saying.
