Well, I decided to clean my Xbox 360 out and throw a decent gaming computer in there (for LANs.)
Reasoning: needed a cool case, one that would be small and easy to carry along with making people say, "Uh, dude, this isn't a console LAN..."
No need to tell me that this is a stupid idea (if you feel that way) because many people around me have (not much for confidence building, but who needs 'em.)
Anways, on to the fun stuff... The plan is to have two layers inside of the 360 case: motherboard on the bottom. I will make a layout in Photoshop later and throw it on here. I will somehow squeeze water cooling inside as well.
Here is the current list of parts that I am looking at.
With the water cooling being internal, the power supply will have to be external, so I plan on either using the Xbox 360 one with some modifications or using the outer shell and a custom built PSU and running wires through the grey cord that would plug into the back of the 360. Which do you think would work better?
Also, would the Xbox 360 stock CD Rom drive work for computer gaming? Could I throw BF2 in there and have it run it as normal or is there a reason I would have to buy a slim drive and place it in there?
Edit: sorry, just realized I did put it into the wrong forum.

I know that the Xbox 360 DVD drive can be connected to a computer (for firmware flashing), and I believe I read somewhere that it is a computer drive relabeled or something. (Might not be right; take this with a grain of salt.)
