Work

Just was wondering what everyone here does for a job.
I started work at the local mine today, not too fun but the pay is enough to get rid of my college loans :P
Oh, and don't think we've had a thread of this nature at least.

Exam week is almost done. I'm 15 and going to try to find a Job (Grocery Store) to finance my NesP & N64P that I would like to do this Summer if I ever have time.
My portable thread:
Not stating any project again until I have a job.

I was a worked at a summer day camp for a while, but I quit/was forced to quit maybe partially because I camped out for a Wii instead of going to work. But I made like 4 dollars an hour there. I'm not kidding. (I was 14.)

But now, I go to parties and Bar Mitzvahs and stuff, take pictures of people on a backdrop and put the picture on a magnet. It's a fun job, and I can get a lot of money for it. I've only done it twice, and one was for my sister, but I'm hoping to get more gigs during summer.
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

I'm an IDOT Level II Certified Aggregate Technician at a rock quarry in District 5. As well as assist a secretary. I have a fancy certificate and license card. During school time I'm either going to pick up again at Taco Bell (ew) or apply to work at a quarry in District 6 where school is.

I specify gradation to certify that our aggregate (rock mix) is ok to sell as it's named. I do rock samples and even get to keep the pyrite and crystals I find.

i'm just a giant mesh of different interests.

I work for a theatre. Tech specialist and property master. I get to rig up all the little special effects people don't usually think about. I also build a lot of props and scenery. We're really lacking on storage space, so if something can't be cannibalized in a certain time frame, I often get to take it home.

Nothing as of now, but hopefully I'll get a job at a grocery store that is half a mile from my house so I don't have to waste money driving there.

I work at a Ski Resort as a maintanance person. I check hot tubs PH/chemical levels, paint, clean, minor repairs, etc. Its not a bad job and I get paid $13.50/hour. I also do those video review on that ExpoTV and I've made $200/month for the last 2 months.

Connecticut's minimum wage is 7.65, you were doing something wrong. And where in CT do you reside?

I'm a painter, working for my father, been doing it part time, slowly more and more since around 7th grade, around 7-8 years.

Technically, if you're under 16, they don't have to pay you minimum wage.
