I was thinking that if it's not to much trouble maybe Gannon or Spongebuell could add a spot on the portables systems of doom about info on the game systems or things like that. Which would kind of help explain a lot of stuff for people new to this site. Like what's a noac or what voltages does the psx take. Stuff like that. It's just an idea but I think it would be helpful to a lot of people. If it's to much work it's cool if you don't do it though.

Actually, we are doing that :)
We're going to add things like voltage requirements, board sizes, and maybe even some other things...I won't say them for fear of death

Spongebuell that's awesome. What about the staurn? That's cool that you put the hardness rating. Is a dreamcast that hard to portablize? I'm going to make an xbox portable so everyone will stop giving it such hard time. Why don't you just take pictures of the motherboards and post those instead of making al those CAD pictures it would probably save you some time. :D

Thats funny you put Xbox at 6 on a scale of 1-5. Also why's the PSOne labled at 3? The only proble I have is getting a case design for it (one that will support the CD-rom).

The XBOX is a 6 since we all know it's pretty much impossible, and I thought it'd be funny. The PSOne is a three because the only hard part is the CD drive, for the most part. I welcome anyone's opinions on changes for difficulty as well.

I saw that, it's a nice improvment. Are you going to add some other systems. I think the saturn's about a 5. Or what about a cd32x. You guys are so mean to the xbox. I love my xbox it's my favorite system. I even got my friends to get one.

I'll add the saturn soon. As for the XBOX, I think that would be a great portable and all, but it's just too hard. The ratings represent the difficulty of portablizing, not the coolness of the system.

hmm.... spongebuell, maybe we should add another column for the approx. dimmensions of the system boards for those who don't want to use the cad designs.

I suppose so, although it may get to the point where the whole thing is too wide. I also go started on a picture column, so that makes it a litle wider, too. I think it could be squeezed in, though, especially if I reuce the cell padding. Boy, I'm getting good at the HTML stuff :D
