What is your first videogame?

Post by Aguiluz » Fri Jun 06, 2008 4:19 pm

Mine is Super Mario Bros. for the NES.

I played it first since I was three. I can't get past the dumb first goomba (that red mushroom shaped thing) until I was four or five. I was watching my mom play it so I was hitting B many times in trying to kill it. I didn't know that you have to grow up and get a flower first. Ran to the goomba and too late for Mario.

I was the only one with a Genesis when I was small. I think the game was Sonic or Forgotten Worlds.

my parents were friends with this other family in the area and they had a snes. my parent's wouldn't let me have a nintendo so i went over to their house to play theirs. it was super mario bros. all stars.

my first system was a 2600 that my parents found at a garage sale for me to shut me up.

Hard to say what my first was, but IIRC it was pre-NES, reminded me of a VCR and it had some train hopping game or something...might be wrong, I had to be <=2 at the time. Ones I remember first clearly would be megaman 2, dragon warrior, or smb/duckhunt

Edit: According to my mom, smb & zelda were first at ~2 years old, the one I thought of as a VCR was probably a relatives intellevision.

I think it was Pac-Man, arcade. My parents would hold me up to play it so I could see :P

The first one I owned was a Game boy Pocket. I still have it.

Doom 2, or maybe it was C&C Red Alert but I know it was one of the two.

Or if you want console game, Sonic the Hedgehog on the SEGA Genesis! =P

Hmm, I forget if it was Stuntcopter on the Mac SE, or Atari's Combat. One of those.

My first gaming experience was Downland for the CoCo 2.

Play the Java version online here.

Select setup, bin, downland. ENJOY!!

I'm pretty sure it was either Super Mario World on the SNES which I used to play at my parents friends house (I later ended up buying that SNES from them and still have it :D (it was so they could get money to buy an N64)), or it was some mario game on a game boy (which I also still have). I can't remember which I played first.

A computer game for me. Perhaps Suppeplux. Maybe some DOS game. I know I remember we had a DOS boot with a dual-boot of Windows 3.1 from the DOS menu. Or maybe it was SuperFly for DOS.
Hey, sup?
