I thought Its time to start workind on a project so I Decited to first come up with a design/how its going to be set up. I'm not sure If this is 100% possible but I'll figure out how to make one of these. Here's what I drew up last night. :)

Pretty cool so far, I had an idea for a Game Boy Pocket in an NES cart awhile back, this reminds me a lot of that.

I'm not sure if you can get video out from a GBA Mirco. Unless your using a original GBA. Which I know you can get video out from the original GBA by use of a device.

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

Considering you screen placement, I think GBA SP is the only viable choice, unless you want to build a cart extender of some sort.

I'm probably not going to do the 2 headphone jacks and the TV-out is probably a mod I'm going to do after I get it built. Hopefully this'll look good. This will be my first mod you know. ;)

TV out is a large card, the same size as a GBA mobo. It will not fit in your design. It also was designed for the GBA not micro.

Then chances are I won't have a TV out in this project. Thats just where I'd put it if It was possible.

Project is viable and should be good experience to complete, you should be able to complete it ok, there is enough room inside, using a GBA micro. You could probably use two batteries in parallel in the remaining space too.

It might work better! Put a GBM next to an SMS cart, compare the size and thickness/tallness of the cartridge and GBM.

I'd love to see this in a Super Game Boy cart. The irony itself would reap far better rewards IMO. :D
