somebody message me about this, they cost like $35 to make. I get paid on the 31st, but it would be cool if who ever was doing this could start collecting the products right now so they can send it to me right away.

Fun fact: the miniPOV he used was from ladyada, who I believe used this forum.

Weird...I was thinking about making something similar just the other day - Some sort of headphones that output certain frequencies for different brain function. I would think the LEDs pointed straight into your eyeballs from 1/2" wouldn't be very good for you.

Trippy. I think I'll take my chances getting wasted before trying to sleep every night. I couldn't tolerate the flashing lights right in front of my retinas.

Okay, I built one of these. Honestly, not too hard to do, IF you remember polarity of LEDs unlike me. And then you just rebuild it.

I just tried it out for the first time like, 10 minutes ago. I have to admit, I was scared as all heck about what it would do, if I would die, etc... Well, I didn't, obviously.

Give it a try, it's not too hard, nor expensive to buy the kit and parts. If you have to buy all the parts, it'd cost you maybe US$40. It takes some time to build, take it easy and slow, and maybe a half hour to figure out how to program it once you've gotten all the files together (note: you may need Mac or XP and lower). But once you've gotten it together and programmed, you'll see why they say "trip the light fantastic".
