well I have been building this thing for way too long. So, for the past few days I have been really busting me a$$ (I don't really know the swearing policies around here) to get it finished. So, some specs
- Built in lithium ion battery (4200mah I think)
- Standard psone screen (bad led mod and for some reason bad quality video)
- Built in Memory Card
- Player 2 controller and memory card slots
and.... I guess thats it.
Picture time!
Front view
side view
another side view
Top view (Buttons left to right are: brightness up, brightness down, volume down, and volume up)
The nasty bottom of the case (will be player 2 ports)
And this is just a picture of the crappy image quality
And so, thats it. I blew 5 psone boards (shakes head in self pity) only one screen board, 2 controllers, and 4 LEDs.

Re: OH NO, a playmad knock off!
Hey I blew three Super Joy III's before I had a working NOAC portable (which is supposedly the easiest project to tackle), so don't worry about it too much. I bet the next one you make you could get on the first try, right?Gordon1 wrote:I blew 5 psone boards (shakes head in self pity)
Looks like you did a great job. How do the controls feel? Also, I'd like to hear a little more details on what battery you chose and where you got it from.
Your finger protector plastic thing is great. What, you don't want your fingers to be sliced by a free-spinning disc of death?

OK, controls feel good, the analogs are a bit of a stretch for the hands but all others are good. that battery is just a bt42 of ebay, I believe it was like $30.Life of Brian wrote:Your finger protector plastic thing is great.
