What should I build?

Post by vb_master »

I really want to build a portable. I have the money, I have the soldering skills, but I don't have a way to make a nice case. I've been eyeing this PlayStation (gray box) at a store called 'The Exchange', it was also only $10, so should I buy that old one, or the $25 PSOne (new)? If PlayStation's are too hard to build, what would you recommend? Amazingly there are no local NOAC sellers, so I'm not doing that, I could do an Atari 2600.

My stores opening in a few days, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get the noac in, although I will be accepting preorders right away.
Also I'd get the psone since it's smaller, and only requires a 7.2V input, while the psx needs 2 voltages.

Gannon: Where's your shop? If it's anywhere nearby me, I may stop by for some things.

lol! Actually I priced it as low as I can at $20. After the price I pay plus the shipping I pay it comes out to around $19.00.

How about building a nes into some video glasses and create some controllers that are golves. Then you build a thing you put on your belt for the game cartridges.
