Well, I am not one to be hateing apple or anything, I just mainly hate their ads and windows plays games/is cheaper.

Anyway recently I was considering getting myself a iPhone but for people who do have one I want to know.

1: Does it out rite suck?
2: What are your complaints about it?
3: Does it have problems watching longer You Tube videos (20+minutes)?
4: What can you do to it with ought voiding the warranty? (custom firmware?)
5: How would you rate its ability to surf the net?
6:Can you replace the battery with ought sending it to apple? (soldering free?)
7:Can it do Metacafe and other video sites?

So pretty much the main reason I want one is, the internet. I can not take my desktop around my house with me, but sometimes I just want to do a little surfin' and not go all the way to my cold/hot basement. (no A/C sux) Also we do not have TV so I could watch You Tube all day and night.

So should I get one, I mean if I got a laptop it would only be for surfing the internet and maybe You Tube and a cheap laptop is still $400 with a 4GB HDD)VS a iPod touch with a 8GB HDD.

So should I do it, and if I do should I just go for it and void that warranty?

Nah waste of money. If you're got a phone stick with it until it dies.

He said iPod Touch, not iPhone. There's a difference there.

Personally I've never used the Touch, but I have used the iPhones of a couple people I know and browsing the web seemed pretty good. This was over cellular, not WiFi, so I'm sure you'd get better performance that way. As a movie player, I don't have any experience with that, sorry.

look into the jailbreak thing. I have no idea about it since I've never used an iphone or ipod touch but apparently in makes the little device not suck.

The only reason I don't have a Touch yet is because I have no money. But once I do, I am all over it. Just make sure you don't update it so you can jailbreak it. That alone is what makes it so awesome. However, if you want a laptop, you should get the Asus EEEpc. It's pretty cool, or so I've heard.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

They would have had to start some kind of production by now, and there WOULD be pictures of it. Somebody would get pictures, a factory worker or otherwise someone would.

Can you link me to an official site or something? I now know what to save my money for. Just the idea of Radiant Silvergun on the go makes my head feal like it's going to explode from awesomeness.

Which it can't. The newest system people have mentioned it being able to emulate is the N64 (there has also been talk of emulating of DS and even PSP though).

Most of the info can be found on this forum. The wiki is here, but it appears to be down. Most of the known stuff is on the Wikipedia article anyway though. This is the official site, There is practically nothing on it though, and it's a really poorly-made site.
