Star Wars meets Soul Calibur

Post by nightwheel » Wed Jan 09, 2008 11:35 pm

Today, Namco Bandai anounced that two Star Wars characters. Darth Vader and Yoda are going to be guest characters in the new Soul Calibur game. But Yoda will only be avaible in the XBOX 360 version of the game.(Because Yoda and the XBOX are green.) And Darth Vader will only be avaible in the PS3 version one the game. (Because Darth Vader and the PS3 are black.)

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

While I prefer 2d fighters, this does look cool.

My friend however is going to freak.

While it does look very cool I think all these extra characters are ruining the storyline. Like how are they going to explane what Darth Vader is doing in the fictional Soul Calibur world: "Darth Vader heard about Soul Calibur whilst he was taking a cruise with his super star destroyer and wanted to go back in time to get the sword so he could use it to kill people in a more difficult way then just blowing them up with the Deathstar or choking them with the force" -wait what??

While I thought Link kinda fitted in the whole fantasy world this is just too much :? Don't they care about the storyline at all?

Um, obviously not :P....

It's a bit weird....I mean, Yoda and Vader would absolutely destroy anyone in the Soul Calibur universe, but still, it looks pretty damn awesome. The PS3/360 exclusive characters really pisses me off, though :x.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Wait, I'm confused, is it the typo in the word completely which sums everything up, or is it the intended sentiment?

You aren't seeing the big picture.

Everything.
