Hi guys, I've found while shopping with my girlfriend this very nice clone:

<a href="http://img45.imageshack.us/my.php?image ... 546ou8.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/8193/r ... ou8.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a>

If someone is interested to see more pics, I can upload some more. The clone is very well done. It features an american cart slot, headphone out, av out and rf. It also has an eject button. I wondered if someone had any information about this particular clone. This is not Generation NEX.

I know this one. I think this was supposed to be a fully functional NES replica (it doesn't play all games, but I think it supports the 4score)

If I'm not mistaken, I think that is the Messiah clone.

Not trying to sound stupid. But why make a clone of a preexisting NES Clone?

Anyways nice find :D

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

Pretty sure it's a NASA, not a Messiah, no famicom slot on top.
IIRC it's a much older clone and more discretely based rather than ASIC

Thanks Gannon ! Your right, this one is definatly a NASA

I've got the same controllers to go with it. Btw, what's the difference between a IIRC and an ASIC ?

He means that it has more "chipie" components. Rather then all being condensed into an asic (oac). If i'm right.

I've always wondered why they bother pirating these things, anyone who really wanted to play NES games could just buy an actual Nintendo, they're cheaper than most of these clones nowadays.

that's not true, a Yobo FC is ~$25 shipped on Amazon.com, you would be hard pressed to find a mint/complete (meaning original cords and 2 controllers) NES for that price. To get a very good shape NES in complete working order you could expect to spend up to $70 or more. Plus, clones offer certain advantages like sharper image clarity (Yobo FC), smaller size, less power usage, more reliable pin connector, etc.

And, even better, is the Yobo FC Twin that plays NES and SNES games for $45 shipped. You would have a REALLY hard time finding a mint NES and SNES for that price.

The main reason people buy clones is because original hardware in really good shape is getting more scarce and pricey, so getting a clone you get a NEW system that offers all of the functionality minus compatibility with a few games, and thats just until someone makes a better NOAC.
