I have been looking around and some people are saying the R4DS is the "bottom of the line" when it comes to (what ever you call it? DS expansion?). I also am seeing these other ones that seem to be exactly the same as a R4DS, Top Toy DS, M3 Real lite, DS extreme, ect... ect...
I have no idea which one to get? I just want it for movies/music mainly, and you can put AIM and MSN on your DS and that looks freakin' sweet. (I can bother triton on the go)
So what should I get, I was going to get a R4 but after reading what people say I don't know if I should?

Most DS Flashcards are pretty similar. The main differences just being build quality and compatibility.
Using something called DLDI, flashcard owners can put a bit of code in some homebrew that makes it compatible with their card. Apparently, the R4 does all that for you.
I don't have an R4, I have an EZ-Flash V. It's not bad, but some things just don't work with it sometimes, and a few weeks ago it just stopped working.
(It's working now.)

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

He explained everything you just asked in his post.Dr. KillGood wrote:Whats a EZ Flash? It lets you play GBA games?Harshboy wrote:R4DS is great. The only thing people go crazy over is that it doesn't come with a GBA Expansion card to play GBA roms.
But, you can just buy an EZ Flash 3 in 1 and problem solved!
Why are we talkin' bout ROMS lol?
