I believe PSP-110 is what the OP used, and it is what I used. I don't think that it works with the PSP slim as a regular battery -- I think it can only operate as a service mode battery. I was never able to power on my PSP Slim using an unmodified PSP-110 battery. However, perhaps my PSP-110 battery didn't have enough charge before I modified it. I didn't test it extensively as a normal battery since I only bought it to make it into a pandora.DSpider wrote:Someone asked about the battery model and I'm curious to know the answer as well.
I'm opting for PSP-110...
On a separate note, it seems that 4GB cards might not work as a MMS. I have read mixed results when using them -- perhaps it depends on the brand as well. At any rate, I will see if I get different results when I make my MMS from a 256MB stick instead (currently the 4GB stick followed all the steps in this guide, including obtaining the msipl.bin, etc files and the PSP won't read the memory stick when booting with my pandora battery. Like I said, I think it's because my memory stick is 4GB. Will get back with results.)
