Noob GCN Mod
Post
by Murdok09 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 2:29 am
Hello everyone! This is my first post, and I am new to this site. I have decided to take my Gamecube apart and mod something in it...I don't know what yet, but something. I can't solder or desolder, so I was wondering if there are any mods or if there is anything I can do to make the GCN PHYSICALLY smaller. I thought about removing the bottom of the device itself (pretty much useless), and some hinges, etc. How can I make my own case? I heard something about bondo, but I don't know what it is. Basically, I am asking for the following:
What can I mod w/o soldering?
How can I make my own case?
What is bondo?
Where can I get bondo?
How can you make the GCN physically smaller?
What else do I need to know?

Okay everyone, I have the case off, and I am at the heatsink...how do I remove it? The screws are on WAY to tight for any screwdriver or drill to remove. Any ideas?
