Scariest things you've seen kids do to their video games

Post by benol » Sat Apr 14, 2007 10:20 pm

One time at Steak n Shake I saw this kid, about 10, with a PSP. His game apparently wasn't working, so he OPENED THE GAME UP, TOOK THE DISC OUT, LICKED HIS FINGER, RUBBED IT ON THE DISC, AND PUT THE GAME BACK IN!!! That kid did not need to have a PSP. Some other things I haven't seen, but I know little kids did it, like the demo games at Wal-Mart. I have never seen a PS2 demo game controller without a missing button of any type. And the DS's have scratched up screens, and sometimes the demo stylus is torn off.

Every demo controler I have ever seen is missing the caps on its joystick.

My step cousin spit on Animal Crossing & rubbed furiously against her pant leg.

I've seen a kid press the button on a ps2 to open the disc drive and then carefully put the disc into the tray trying not to touch the bottom of the disc for fear of scratching it. Then punch the disc drive door so it will close faster. I mean whats the point.
Meh... So I don't post much?

Scariest thing I've seen is what they do to the L2 and R2 buttons on the PS3! They get all limp and non-responsive- oh, they're all like that? :P

Though it does make me sad to see the DS touchscreens whited out by kids furiously scratching the screen, or the worn off caps on every analog stick.

Well a guy down the street from me is a son of a millionare so he gets anything he wants. His $2000 computer wasn't working (from a virus) so he shot it 14 times with a paintball gun at full valocity. He also threw his PSP against the wall to try and get it to load faster. This kid is 17 and he ruins everything he has cause he is rich.

I it when people do stupid things like that.

I hate how people store their cd/dvd games outside a protective case, usually foil down. That's good, put some scratches in it that I can't repair and make sure to trade it in after abusing it as much as possible.

Oh, and when people blow on nes carts, that really ticks me off. it doesn't really help, and it's pretty gross.

My friend's little sister lets their pet rabbit out and lets it chew on small wires. It already chewed a keyboard, a PS2 controller and a small bit of their LCD screen.

My cousins were playing PS2 (the PS2 was on top off the TV cabinet) and they were being kinda rowdy with the controllers and pulled the PS2 off the cabinet and it hit the concrete floor. Then they gave it to me (it's warrenty expired) and I fixed it and it still works.

I think the really stupid thing is actually giving such young children really <s>sophisticated</s> pricy pieces of hardware. I think I'd feel a bit better giving a 90 dollar 2Gb. Zen MP3 player, then giving said minor a 250$ iPod for that boy to waste. Scariest thing I've seen would have to be....my friend's bro licking hsi PS2mini's laser to get a CD to work. I think we all know it didn't....but I guess I laughed at how he was able to get his tongue to reach the laser. Aw kids...it's just not worth buying the brat a PS3 sometimes.
