That looks like the RadioShack-brand 3300 mAh batteries I saw for the first time in the store yesterday...

Why not build a small enclosure to put over the battery? it could even be slanty, like this:

that wouldn't be necessary... the battery works well while velcroed to the case, and acts as a support for the cartridege

Batteries always say not to store them in your pocket.

...or is it capgun caps? Caps seem much more explosive.
