Work in progress: polycase + FC Twin + PSOne lcd

Triton, unfortunatly the board is held in by 6 screws and double sided tape for the power board underneith. I wasn't planning on taking it back apart unless 100% necessary What were you trying to figure out? maybe I can answer your question.
Also, tonight I installed the start & select buttons. I just need to install the speakers and make some mounting posts for the PSOne board. I know the dpad looks like of fugly, but I HAD to have an original feeling dpad with the rubber/carbon contacts. The buttons are perfect with tact switches, but I think that a crap feeling dpad ruins it. Oh well, if i make another one i'll use tact switchs for the dpad. It would have made it 10X easier.

Wow I have not been here in a while (hence the Christmas '06 avatar) the FC Twin looks really cool, I may have to get one. It kinda makes me sad that I disassembled a SNES mini now
Your Case looks sweet, did you cut the button holes and everything? I bet that was way easier than trying to cut my aluminum box from Hammond I may have to buy a poly case now.

I did a little more work. I started the trim around the LCD recess, drilled speaker holes, and cut out the cart hole in the top panel. Everything is still a little rough as you can see, but It will eventually all come apart for a final glazing and sanding to smooth everything out. I also need to relocate the volume buttons, since the speakers are in their normal area. There really wasnt any other place to fit the speakers.
I just ordered a real nimh smart charger, and six 2100mAh nimh batteries w/ solder tabs. They should get me about 3.5~ hours of battery life, which i'll be happy with for now.
Im hoping that one day soon they will release some 2500-2700mAh AAs with tabs. That would really be badass.
Everyone, thanks for the compliments and encouragment. Thats what makes this community great.

Wow. Simply godly, great stuff! That rivals Joedog's SNESp as my favorite 16-bit portable out there! I'd be interested to see some pics of the LCD board after you've done your cropping; if you get it down to Gamelver proportions, I'd be sorely impressed! Well, even more impressed than I am right now, would be a better way to put it.
