I kinda like it, and I kinda don't like it at the same time.
Is it made of metal? Because if it is, it looks pretty heavy. Not very ergonomic.
I do like where you was going with the project though, and A+ for effort..
Metal is hard to work with, I think you did pretty well, but not my cup of tea.
I'd have chosen plastic to make it lighter and shaped it to be a bit more comfortable.. Have you sliced your hand on those edges yet?
I like the fact you can still have the controller pak in it.

The C buttons and D-pad are SNES buttons, the A and B button is gamecube buttons, and the start button is a n64 start button. The sides are aluminum, credit to bending them goes to my dad , everything else is 1/16" engraving plastic. It's not that heavy (mostly because I couldn't fit the batteries)
By the way how much do N64 portables sell for? I might consider selling this thing in a little while.

It's 2" thick (not includeing the rise out of the back) , 10" wide, and 8" tall.
I'll have to give you the rise out of the back measurement later.
My biggest setback was not making it 11" wide. Since it was 10" I couldn't fit the batteries. Thus you have to run it of the wall, or plug the batteries in, which is kinda nice since it makes it a lot lighter
I did paint the buttons (another one of the set backs)
My commandment to portable builders of all kinds "Do Not Paint Buttons "
I'm still wondering what do you think I could sell it for?
