Well, I've given up on my dslite.
It's top cartslot broke completely. I desoldered it off. It's flashed with FWNitro.
I'll get pics up tomorrow maybe.
I knida borrowed some of the text from vb's old topic
Top Screen (near perfect condition!) - $20
Bottom Screen (Near perfect it is scratched a bit) - $25
Motherboard flashed with FW Nitro $20
Speakers - $5
Wifi Antenna - $5
Battery - $4
The case is in good condition, includes screws - $20
All buttons - $5
Plastic carrying case : $10
Supercard lite rumble (needs a little soldering work, ribbon cable broke) : $20
Micro sd card 1 gig: $20

The original cartslot had like 3 broken pins. So I tried to install an ar max duo slot into it.

So there is nothing left to solder to the original cart connector? Cuz you could solder some wire to the broken pins then solder it to the mobo.
Oh and the AR max Duo (Ya I have one too) well Did you unbridge the Pins the Connect to the pins, which are most likely the connections for the EEPROM on the game cart to rip/write saves? this could be the problem if you didnt unbridge them.

Well, I desoldered the ds slot from it, to try to replace thedslite one, I think I didnt make good enough connections though.

how did the cart slot break? I thought that was almost impossible because those small carts stop at a certain length.
