Smallest Megadrive Portable EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Unidentified Assilant »

I'm getting a Radica, and building the smallest megadrive portable... EVER!!! I am going to the put the main model in the case, and where the space is on the controller, a hip gear screen, so it be as big as a 3-button Megadrive controller!

Where's the carts and batteries going to go? I can see how having the smallest Genesis/Mega Drive in the world but make it practical, you need to account for everything before you go nuts and end up having to start over.

I'd say you'd get the thing about 30% smaller than the Nomad.

I would hope that some of you have the restraint to not do that. And it seems that you HK-47 go through phases of annoying posts. Last trend you did was the repeating word post that went on for pages.

You are both wasting bandwidth.

Anyway, I think that is a great idea. If you want the batteries to fit, why not use your controller and have clipable battery packs that your fingers can use to get a better grip. like this
This is a side view of what I assume to be your design. With Radioshack battery cases modded to clip in or something.

[-------------------------------------------------------]
|--------------Radica-in-a-Controller--------------|
|-------------------------------------------------------|
[____________----------------____________]
[ Battery Pack].............^..---.[ Battery Pack]
[___________]..............^---.[___________]

Wow, 3min, I am getting slow.

EDIT: I mean 6min total. Forgot to take into account the forums deforming abilities.
EDIT2: That way your fingers can grip the machine better. Like a GG I guess but smaller.
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.
