The official MUST HAVE Anime list
Moderator:Moderators
For A while I have wanted to do this, but I am looking to find a collection of the BEST anime series to BUY,
Right now I have a few of my personal Favorites on the List:
Outlaw Star (My personal Fav.)
Trigun
Ghost in the Shell (both movies and the two SACs)
Akira
Spirited Away
Steamboy
Naruto
I am asking my fellow anime junkies forum members to give me some other options, Now I know some of you may be into Dirty stuff, keep it reasonably clean I want to be able to pass this on to generations that will not turn out useless...
Thanks
~Krepticor
PS If you are dying to get rid of an anime collection, PM me I may make an offer you may just like (better than gamestop at least)

I'm not an 'anime junkie' but Ninja Scroll is definitely worth picking up.

I've never been a huge fan of anime, but the one series that caught my eye and that I loved watching was Cowboy Bebop. I saw a bit of Wolf's Rain, and that looked pretty good too.
My $0.02...

For the best of the best, I reccomend Princess Mononoke and Cyborg 009.
Edit:Oh yeah!I almost forgot Mobile Suit Gundam.
Edit 2:Steamboy is pretty awesome too.

Laugh and the world laughs with you; It's inhabitants are an entirely different story.
Dr. Killgood, your SN reflects a lot, but seriously I do not want a flame war cuz that would lockify this thread and I seriously want a dynamite list of anime to pick-up
Oh yea I also forgot to mention old school counted,
Like VOLTRON
Ninja Scroll
and the like
I have seen a lot of Cowboy beebop and Wolves Reign and liked them both, I definatly want to get the full collections of those
I also liked
samurai champloo
Lupin the III
I am mainly asking for a list to get, not that I'm going to run ou and buy every sigle one on the list, but see what I can get for deals and the like

Fullmetal Alchemist is the best anime ever created period. It's so emotionally overpowering. Just watch it.
Bleach, InuYasha and Naruto are pretty good fanboy fodder, along with Eureka Seven. But again, if you're looking for more, FMA is the best.
And really anything Hayao Miyazaki (that's how you spell it by the way ) My personal favorite is Princess Mononoke, followed closely by Spirited Away.
Oh, and there's a movie called Grave of the Fireflies about two Japanese kids during WW2. It's not necessarily a war move, it just shows what happens to the innocent caught in a great struggle. Definitely a tear-jerker, especially at the end.
There's a ton of other anime I love, I'll list 'em later.
Oh, and don't forget to watch the Chrono Trigger OVA!!!
