WTB: PSP with broken UMD drive.

Post by Unidentified Assilant » Tue Jan 02, 2007 6:09 am

I want a PSP with a broken UMD drive... why? Because I will only use it for playing PSX isos and emulators/homebrew, don't want to go too high, and no www.ebay.com auctions, go with www.ebay.co.uk instead please.

Thanks

That is an easy problem to fix. I've fixed 2 other PSPs with the same problem. Just clean the laser with rubbing alchol and hover out the PSP insides.

My UMD drive isn't working, I'll have to try this. What's "hover"?

Hoover with one of these:

Or similiar.

Note: If the problem with your drive is a hardware problem they hoovering will not fix it (unless you are amazingly lucky).
