He's comparing it to a seven or so year old clone. Plus he's never even used the FC Twin, that should tell you a whole lot.gannon wrote:hmm.. http://nesdev.parodius.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?p=20172

Hmm, this looketh really cool. However, being the cheap pirates that they are, I'll bet the SNES part outputs RGB and the Noac outputs composite. I'd bet you could seperate them without a problem. Of course, an RGB noac would be cool, although I don't know exactly why you need to have that kind of video clarity when the resolution on an NES is so low. How about you guys check and see for sure whether the Noac part can output RGB or maybe it's composite? My guess is that if the NOAC is not RGB it will have a composite line out and the RGB lines from the SNES part will just run right through the NOAC board and into the interface board.
As for the objection that this is not any better than a real SNES is you are using a PSOne screen: Why is that? Yeah, the screen is big, but using a smaller PCB for the SNES part would save space all the same, space which could be fulled with some other nececary part(s) Plus this is an abundant item, and the price is OK and may soon get better. That way if you hack it and it breaks it's not a big loss nor will you feel bad about destroying origional SNES hardware.

Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!

i cant think why super scope wouldnt work since it has its own ir sensor. i would be more worried about the light gun. the light gun works on almost all nes clones. one thing that may hold it back is that this isnt compatable to real snes controllers and only works with the ones that come with the system.Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote:i dont think the superscope will work but i am trying to find some nes ports to put on the side
Mine works with SNES controllers, along with a few other accessories such as the mouse and a pair of motion sensing bats. Btw, I have a Superscope I could use to test co0mpatiability, but I'm to lazy to go through the trouble of getting it set up. I have my system cases, accessories, and boxes on top of the TV so I wouldn't know where to put the IR sensor.ATOMICMAN wrote:i cant think why super scope wouldnt work since it has its own ir sensor. i would be more worried about the light gun. the light gun works on almost all nes clones. one thing that may hold it back is that this isnt compatable to real snes controllers and only works with the ones that come with the system.Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote:i dont think the superscope will work but i am trying to find some nes ports to put on the side
