I had a Idea for a Nes arcade tabletop that hade a real nes,5 cartidge connectors, and a coin slot.
Could I set up a timer that went off when 10 minutes past and give the option to close or continue (for a Quarter).
Should I use a advantage (easy) or make a custom controller(no cheepy turbo)?
Can I set it up so that the cartrige slot can be selected through a button and make the wires read that port?
Should I use a old tv(Cheep) or buy a Arcade monitor(Quality)?
How would I make start up with *Insert Coin*?

Eh more or less, but it will have ports on the side for special games, I could also work in a arkanoid paddle on the top of the controller.
Note:I plan on selling it to the local pizza parlor.

Duh.
Home Depot
Lowe's
If you want cheap, go look for used palletes, pull out all the nails and staples, and you have some cheap, crappy boards to play with.
From the sound of what you want to do, you would need a lot more skills in programming than you seem to have. And do you honestly think any company would buy a homemade arcade machine which contains a 20+ year old video game console and was built by hand with secondhand lumber?
Sorry to burst your bubble but your plan is very far-fetched, and well... put bluntly it's downright silly.

That doesn't make a difference. No sane buisness would spend money on a homebuilt machine which runs on 20+ year old technology that was made by some random kid. Why? Because if it looke cheap, and runs old home games, nobody will want to play it. I don't think anyone would buy it.
Not to mention your ambitious goals of an onscreen "insert more money" prompt, a homemade cartridge switching device, and an electronic timer. Some of these features are a lot harder to do than others (the onscreen prompt being the hardest).
My question is why/ Why do you want to do this? Have you even talked to the store's manager?
Honestly you'd be better off fixing up an old Pac Man machine for them.

Also, just to continue to rain on your parade, the games you have for your home system are not licensed to be put on public display nor have money charged for its play, which would make you and/or the parlor potentially liable for damages. Also, some munipalities have stricter policies on machines that can be put out for public use.
I would be VERY weary about the license on those. The only real legal way I would see around it would be to get an original arcade cabinet that still works. The chances of you getting caught would be slim, but I definitely would never do it. I have made my own arcade cabinet from wood that I got from Lowes and a computer with MAME, but I would never consider putting it in a public business, or reselling it.
