anything like it?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

I was wondering if there was anything like the Doctor v64 for the SNES?

Something that plays back-ups off CDs

I have googled and found a backup-unit that takes 3 1/2 inch floppies but haven't found one that take my preffered format of CDs...

Well they are only 1.4MB and SNES Roms are usually 2MB+
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

They are 1.44 MB if formatted in a PC. In a Mac they have more space, I believe, and even in a PC there are utilities to format to 1.68MB while keeping them stable. Once can go to 1.72 MB, but the floppies tend to fail. Once formatted to higher sizes, windows can even use them normally at those sizes.

I believe that the floppy sizes before format are:

"720K" = 1M
"1.44M" = 2M
"2.88M" = 4M

The amount you can use on each varies depending on the formatting used.

If you want to make 1.68 or 1.72 MB floppies in Windows, use WinImage to initially format them, and then use them normally.

I believe there is a Linux command that can do it internally, as well.

Since that can be done, I don't see why an SNES floppy would be stuck on 1.44 unless it used standard FAT12.
Warranty-Voiding fun!

actually I am planning on plaingback-ups that range up in the 4 Meg range...so Floppies...OUT!

Like I said any thing Like a Doctor V64 for the SNES would be nice, even If it is a project and I have to build it, I also want it to be able to handle ALL the games, including the Dreaded Compression chips and the Super FX and all the different mappers

I think I would be better off designs and building a dev cart...
(any info on that would be acceptable)

The second link says this:
The unit is one of the few SNES copiers which features a parallel port, meaning that you can send a game from the PC directly to the copier, so you're free from copying the games to serveral 3.5" disk and then waiting forever for the copier's diskdrive to read the disks.

But that's not all, the unit has even another port included on the back which can be used to attach an Iomega 100MB zip-drive to the unit or a specially designed, by FFE, accessory called Diskdual and is a box which can be used to host a CD-ROM drive and/or a Harddrive, I think the maximum disk size is around 1.6GB.
Hey, sup?

I know that I really do not want to play games off the cartridge, that is why there is an internal hardrive, The issue is can I back-up my games to my pc (for greater security) and the transfer those ROMs to the Hard-drive of the WildCard to play better or would I be better off just modding My XBOX?
